My Services

An assessment should offer more than just scores or a diagnostic label. It should build a clear, compassionate picture of how a child thinks, learns and navigates their world, and what supports will genuinely make a difference.

My approach is collaborative and child‑centred. I work closely with children and young people, their families, and -where appropriate - schools and other professionals. Throughout the process, I aim to create an experience that feels respectful, supportive and grounded in understanding.

A key part of my work is providing thorough, practical reports that translate assessment findings into meaningful strategies. Families and educators receive clear recommendations they can use at home and in the classroom, helping them feel confident about next steps and better equipped to support the child’s learning and wellbeing.

I offer a range of assessments, including cognitive assessments, learning and educational assessments, ADHD assessments, assessment for gifted learners, adaptive functioning assessments, and assessments relating to intellectual developmental disorder.

The process for assessments includes a parent interview to gather background and developmental information, one to three child sessions to complete required assessments, then a final parent feedback session to discuss results and recommendations. Your consent may also be sought to contact the child’s school for information and to complete online questionnaires depending on the assessment and what information is required to complete a thorough assessment. You will be provided with a comprehensive report during the parent feedback session, that will include practical recommendations for both home and school, and any next steps.
